Just drove through a Farmers Market...
at last count he killed 8 (an one 3yr old child) people with 9 still in critical condition...
14 people in serious condition and up to 16 others with broken bones etc etc..
Santa Monica California's Farmers Market is like 4 blocks long with the streets blocked off, with nothing but people on the streets going from vender to vender...
the old man finally stopped when the last body went through the windshield...
the whole thing might end up as bein "just a horrible ACCIDENT"
wtf?

his 9th victim died last night...
he passed all police tests... they let him go..
i swear to god! the cameras were right on the accident as they were covering the bodies with the yellow cover...
there was yellow body bags.... all down the street for two and a half blocks....
the last body was still on the car....
witnesses said he got out and yelled.."you saw me comin...why didnt you get out of the way"!!!!
i want to know his exact words....when they told him he killed...(at that time) 8 people...
and how could they let him go... after whatever comment he made after....
over 30 victims....
Did they show you guys, pics of the car????
all the damage was from the bodies he hit.....
86 yrs old.....i cant believe they let him go..

This is how the media takes an event and makes you people start bringing up issues that aren't even issues.
The fact he is 86 has nothing to do with anything. Old people are slower this is true, but its not as if there's a case every day of an old person driving through crowds of people. Think before you generalize an issue and make blanket statements about ALL old people because of one crazy old man. If it happened all the time then this wouldnt be news and appauling.
Teenagers cause the most recks and men under 25. Teenagers cause 50 percent more wrecks than any other age group. That one woman that hit that man and let him die in the windshield was 27 and she let him die. Should 27 year old women not be allowed to drive?
Pay attention to the propaganda you're buying into. By the media focusing on this issue dont suddenly make it a cause.

Here is a link to what happened.
http://www.cnn.com/2003/US/West/07/1...ash/index.html
My statement was not made based on one old man. Its how many times I damn near get hit by someone and its always someone old. Not paying attention and too old to react in time. Most old people are very offensive drivers. I stand by what I said. I meant it. Its how I feel. I see it daily. As you have the right to tell us we don't, I have the right to feel as I wish for my reasons. Old people are as dangerous as are new young drivers or people in big ass SUV's. Almost all for the same reasons. They don't think. Think they own the damn road and are all very offensive drivers. Driving is a responsility and a privledge, not a right.
PS. YES 27 year old women ON DRUGS have no business in a car, let alone driving.

Police officers stand by the car that plowed through a crowded market in downtown Santa Monica on Wednesday, killing 10 and injuring dozens.
Eight victims were pronounced dead at the scene. A ninth, a 50-year-old man, died later at a St. John?s Hospital, spokeswoman Barbara Bishop said. A 10th, a 7 1/2-month-old baby identified as Brendan Esfahani, died in a hospital Thursday afternoon.
?There may be some negligence as to his capacity to drive safely,? ....*DOH!!....Butts said, although he added that Weller, of Santa Monica, has a valid driver?s license.
Weller told police he was leaving a nearby post office and didn?t realize until too late that the street was closed for the market.
Bahram Manahedgi, 50, said one person was on the hood of the car when it came to rest, and a woman was crushed beneath it.
Manahedgi said that when he went to pull the driver out, ?I said, ?Do you know what the hell you did?? He said, ?No.? I just opened the door. I pulled him out.?
A crowd gathered around the car and ?wanted to beat him up,? Manahedgi said. ?I said, ?He?s an old man, leave him alone.??

Russell Weller, center, is met by his great-grandson Wednesday as he leaves the Santa Monica police station after being questioned by police. The man at the left is unidentified.
